Key Findings from the Study

✅ Rising Interest in UK Ferries – The research shows growing demand for ferry travel among Dutch travelers. Almost 30% of respondents plan to book a ferry trip to England this year.

✅ Price is the #1 Factor – 38% of travelers consider ticket price the most decisive factor when booking, followed by port accessibility (14.7%).

✅ First-Time Ferry Travelers – While 39.9% have never taken a ferry to the UK, a significant percentage plan to do so in 2024.

✅ Most Recognized Ferry Routes – The most well-known route is Hook of Holland to Harwich (66.4%), while the Rotterdam-Hull route has lower awareness at 40.5%.

✅ Smooth Sailing for Most Travelers – A massive 95.8% of respondents reported no issues with ferry bookings or crossings. The few problems mentioned were minor, such as forgotten passports.
